Why Was Jesus Able To Preform Miracles?

The Bible says that Jesus was able to perform so many miracles because he had the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Son of God which makes him God. The Gospels record a number of Jesus miracles, including his healing of the sick, his casting out of demons, and his raising of the dead. These miracles would have been seen as evidence of Jesus divine power and authority.Jesus miracles would have been seen as fulfillments of Old Testament prophecies that spoke of a coming Messiah who would perform signs and wonders (see Isaiah 35:5-6; 61:1-2). They would also have been in keeping with Jesus own claim to be the Son of God who had come to save his people (see Matthew 11:2-6). Jesus miracles would have had a profound impact on those who witnessed them. They would have seen that he had the power to heal the sick, cast out demons, and even raise the dead. This would have caused many to put their faith in him as the long-awaited Messiah.
